blog redesign, classes, getting inspiration,,,

In the time I have been out of the loop, I've had my blog redesigned by my very talented friend Carrie.  Truth is, I love it.  It's fun and happy and so me.
 On another note, I've been trying to dig and search really deep for some inspiration and motivation.  To be honest, I was getting really tired and bored of the same layouts I was creating.  I noticed that my layouts weren't really telling a story or how i felt during the time the picture was taken.  A few weeks ago I received an email from the Paper Tales telling me that Amy Tangerine was teaching a class.  Lightbulb! 
 I said to myself, "this is just what i need!" 
 So I took it!  Got lots of inspiration and motivation!  I have to say, that her product line is super cute and totally my style!  It feels young and fresh.  
At this moment in time I have the urge to really document things.  During the class, as I made each page, it felt really good to jot down what the picture meant to me. 
 I was like, "Oh my gosh, journaling isn't so bad.  I think I really like this!"
I got home and finished my mini that same day!!  It felt really, really good.  It feels really good to look and feel something tangible that brings back an awesome memory of a fun vacation we had. Nowadays, most of our or my pictures are stored in our laptops.  Remember as kids when our parents had all of our photos in albums!  I really want to go back to that.  So that when Im 50, I can go to my bookshelf and spark up awesome memories and have laughter fits!

It's Friday, Friday. Is it just me, but everytime I hear the word Friday, I immediately think of the Rebecca Black song! It's driving me crazy!! But I am excited that the weekend is here!!! I'm looking forward to Saturday! My precious momma is coming over to help me plant rose bushes. You see, my mom has an insane green thumb, like crazy!! Her backyard looks like a jungle with all the different species of plants she has!! Then theres me, absolutely no green thumb! Like zero, zilch nada. That's why shes coming over to help me. I love, love, love, plants and flowers but I can never keep them alive for more than a day. So, I'm glad she's coming over! I love her so much!

I also wanted to share with you a layout I created using the *scarlet begonias* kit from the Pink Ninjas!! Have I ever told you how awesome it is being a Pink Ninja?? Well, it is. Like amazing! And I completely love all of you fellow Pink Ninjas! This world is amazing, fun, be yourself, caring, crazy, and just simply rad!!

rose ring

this week has gone entirely super fast for me!! This is a good thing! Usually they are long and drag out forever! Today, I wanted to share with you a ring I created using the *scarlet begonias* kit from The Pink Ninjas! In the kit, comes three different colored rose cabochons!! They are sooooo pretty. I really love them. This coming from a cabochon loving person. ;-) I used the pink one, glued it onto a flat backed ring that I had and voila!! Super simple but super fun!!

It's a Garden Tea Party

Okay, so I am beyond excited to share with you our next Pink Ninja crop! I am super pumped up! Our last one was a success and SO much fun! { See pics below on previous post}

Our next crop will be August 6th. 11-8pm. Vista, CA. Cost: $25. We will be providing lunch and dinner. Wine, bottled water and an assortment of teas and lemonade! We will be having finger foods! A true garden party, held outside in beautiful Cali weather! p.s. there will be shade, i know it can get warm in the summer. We will have kits for sale, candles, nerd glasses and other fun goodies!! Ally Cakes

Monday~the beginning of the week is here. I just want to say, I had the most incredible weekend! I had the most productive day with my bestie. We shopped till we dropped! For our cute shop that is!! I cannot wait to show you all the goodies! Speaking of besties, I want to share with you a layout I created a bit ago. We were having a business meeting talking about ideas to make layouts. I thought it would be fun to make a layouts full of cabochons!! I must say, Ally and myself are obsessed with these things!! We think they are so stinking cute! This page is absolutely heavy! Let me tell you, it felt so good gluing down all these guys!! Especially on a layout with my bestest friend on it! I love this picture of her. Plus, it brings back a really fun memory!! *Ally Cakes*

Scarlet Begonias

wednesday- woa! my second day of blogging. I need to keep this up, it feels good! It is May, *Scarlet Begonias* is in the shop! {we have very few left} visit Pink Ninjas shop to grab your very own kit!

I want to thank each and everyone one of you that has purchased a kit from us! When we first embarked on this journey, we had such big hopes and dreams. It feels extremely awesome and humbling to see those hopes and dreams come true! It is all owed to you! You, that support us and love what we do! Thank You, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And thank you to my bestie, my partner in crime. You are my rock. I couldn't imagine living this dream with anyone else!!

Holey Moley!!,,

I seriously cannot believe I have not blog in like a month!! Wow!! To be perfectly honest, I have had a lot going on! I completely and totally miss my blog and I especially miss all of my blog friends {if i still have any} I must say that it feels really good to hit the keyboard keys while I'm writing this. Today, I want to tell you about something fun that just happened last week!! We, the pink ninjas had a CROP!! Yes!, a crop! Seriously, it was so much FUN!!

We were so excited on how wonderful it turned out! Some croppers sat and chit chatted while others cranked out some major layouts! It was perfect. The food and snacks were yummy. I seriously cannot gush enough about this. It means so much and is very humbling to have accomplished something we've worked so hard for! Thank You to all of you that made this crop a success! Now, for everyone that wasn't able to make it, we will be hosting one August 6th!! It will be a Garden Tea Party Crop. Cost is $25. Can I say it??,,,

It's FRIDAY!!!,,, can I say party time!!!! You all have no idea what a difficult week this was for me!! It was all work. I'm frustrated and want out of the 9 to 5!!!

I'm excited though!! This weekend I have nothing but fun plans!! My most favorite plan being that I get to hang out with the most awesome girl ever!!! As you all know by now, she is my favorite, my bestie, my partner in crime, everything!! love her!!

okay, okay, so, I have been scrapbooking. Let me say, it has been really fun!! I loved getting all my stuff out!!! I brought out my * sing for the moment* kit from the pink ninjas!! It was like finding long lost treasure!! I felt so inspired by the colors!!! I made the layout below using this kit!!

man, oh man, where has the time gone?!? My last post was two weeks ago!! I could have sworn it was just last week!! I'm getting really excited because I'm gonna head out on camping trip!! We are headed to the narrows in Utah!! We love to camp, and this park has been on our list for a while.

and here is a layout I created using the *redemption song* kit from Pink Ninja Addicts!! I loved how Ally, my bestie is creating 6x12 layouts with her instax pics!! So, I thought it would be fun to make some!! It felt really good to get my paper out and create something. I have been so busy with life, that I haven't had much time. Not to sound cheesy, but it's pretty therapeutic!! That little squishable, chubby cheek baby is the newest addition to our family!! It's insane how much you can love a child!! I love her to pieces!!

secondly, I would like to share with you my layout for project monday for bubblegum life. When I created this layout I wanted all neutral colors with a pop of color! I found all the perfect papers and trims in our newest kit *redemption song* from Pink Ninjas!!! I have to say, that I'm really loving doing these photo prompts!! It gets me to sharpen my skills on my camera as well as inspire me to make layouts!!

now, I wanna share with you a tiny piece of my life. You see, I'm 31.,,but somewhere along the line I stayed 9 years old. I truly live by the quote "I might be an adult, but I'm a minor at heart". This past weekend my friend had her sons 1st birthday party. And if there is one thing you should know about me, is that I LOVE to break pinatas,,,but most of all, I LOVE the candy inside of it!!! I am totally that girl that runs in and scoops up the candy!! So, I was the first person in line to break the pinata and let's just say I was the last!! I broke that sucker!!! And don't worry, the kids had their own Woody pinata,,, we adults got buzz lightyear!!

Project Monday,,,

Happy Monday! Wanted to share with you the project I created for one of the photos I took for my Appointment with Friday! I decided to use my palm tree background. I printed the image on 81/2 x 11 paper. I then created a layout on top of it. Used some green patterned paper, some fab rips from studio calico and red prima flowers. The little tot is my niece. I took this picture last year during a trip to the local pumpkin patch. I felt this picture went well with the palm tree background. It was pretty fun using a picture as background!
